Forrest Gump
Watched Forrest Gump?
He ran and ran and ran and ran.
The past few times when I went running, I felt like I wanna do the same.
Run and run and run and run.
I feel like I can just keep going on forever there and then.
But obviously, there's reality waiting for me at the end - when my throat becomes too dry, my legs too sore and my body too tired. Or when I realise I've lessons to attend, work to be done, schedules to keep, and life to have to go on living.
They say:
If only time could just stand still.
I say:
Since time just wouldn't stand still, I will run and move along with it.
Then only, time do stand still. Well at least, relative to me.
